Linda Bennett has taught for 18 years in the Putnam County School System.
She is currently in her sixth year as a Title I teacher at Cane Creek
Elementary. Other teaching experiences include eight years at Jere
Whitson Elementary, four years at Cookeville High School, and a combined
eight years as an English Composition instructor at Tennessee Tech plus
five years as an instructor of American history at Nashville Tech. She
has a B.S degree, M.A. degree, and 30 hours beyond the Masters level. She
currently has five grandchildren: Mathew, Bailey, McKenzie, and the
twins, Reagan and Alex. Honors include: "Teacher of the Year" at Jere
Whitson, nomination for "Disney's Teacher of the Year," and several "Who's
Who in America's Teachers."
