Kim Medlin is a first grade teacher at Cane Creek Elementary. She taught Kindergarten for two years and was promoted to first grade in 1998. Prior to coming to Cane Creek, she taught school in Hamblen Co. and Grundy Co. She was Cane Creek's Teacher of the Year in 2006. She is from East Tennessee and graduated from UT Knoxville. She is married to Steve Medlin and they have 2 sons. The oldest, Travis, is touring with the Oak Ridge Boys as their sound technician. Lucas is attending TTU where he is majoring in Agriculture Engineering and planning to graduate next Christmas.
