Kathy Mohr was born and raised in New Jersey. She moved to Cookeville two years ago. Her husband, Ben, is an assistant professor at Tennessee Tech.

Kathy received her B.S. in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Delaware. She received her M.A. in Reading from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City. Kathy has been teaching for six years. Prior to teaching Kindergarten at Cane Creek, she taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in Manhattan and 2nd grade in Atlanta. Kathy’s hobbies include hiking and traveling.
